The road not taken by Robert Frost is special to me. This is the first time I really felt a connection with poetry. I was introduced to this poem in high school and I loved how effortlessly Robert Frost wrote. The road not taken makes you think deep into your past and future and the decisions you make every day. Sometimes in life you want to be able to do everything but unfortunately just as the person described in this poem it’s impossible to go down two complete paths at once. You have to choose and let go of other options, you may never know what was to come of them but you make the best out of the chosen. The setting of this poem also draws me into it, I love that it’s made out to be fall and there's leaves on the ground. Fall is my favorite season and I can picture myself in this poem
